A plain-language account of the information ThreadCabin handles and the boundaries around analytics, accounts, and shared counters.
What to expect
Public pages can record a bounded page kind, same-origin target path, fixed click purpose, timing, coarse device or referrer context, and opaque browser/session identifiers. Search terms, account content, authored charts, contact text, email addresses, and commerce events are excluded from analytics. Contact submissions are separate private support records available only to administration. Raw daily analytics files stay in first-party deployment storage until the operator rotates or deletes them; the data is not sold to advertising networks.
What you can do
Language, units, guest Chart Maker work, offline counters, and opaque analytics IDs can use browser storage. Do Not Track is honored; clearing this site's browser data removes local identifiers and work, but does not retroactively identify or erase already anonymous events. Signed-in users can export their profile, projects, history, and associated contact conversations or delete the account and its server records; shared counter links remain possession links.
Wizards
Wizard drafts and progress stay in this browser until you save them to your account. Saved wizard projects are private, included in account export and removed when the account is deleted. Uploaded source images and previews are private temporary files, accessible for 24 hours and then removed by scheduled cleanup. Guest uploads are limited to 10 MB per file; signed-in uploads to 50 MB. Generated patterns can remain saved after source images expire.
