Transfer onto dark or textured fabric

Choose a visible tested transfer that follows the actual surface. On pile, the design may need temporary surface support so lines do not disappear between fibers.

Before you start

Have the complete instructions, a short list of unfamiliar actions and the materials for a trial. Separate the trial from the final project.

Try this example

Test a pale removable line on dark cotton and a supported line on terry cloth. Stitch a 2 cm curve on each and verify removal without flattening the ground.
